Kelton Anderson

Kelton Anderson is a Legal Assistant/Paralegal at the Minneapolis office of Engelmeier & Umanah. He is a recent graduate of the University of Chicago where he received a dual BA in Public Policy and Political Science, earning honors in both. While attending the University of Chicago, Kelton served as president of the Chicago Debate Society and was named a member of the Dean’s List all four years of his attendance. Kelton began working for the firm as an intern in 2013 and is in the process of applying to law school, which he plans on attending beginning in 2018. As a legal assistant/paralegal, Kelton assists with legal research and writing, reviewing and drafting client documents and providing administrative support to the firm’s legal professionals. Working closely with Sheila Engelmeier, Kelton frequently participates in the resolution of disputed matters through mediation proceedings. Kelton’s positive attitude, consistent dedication to successful completion of tasks, attention to detail and strong communication skills are what set him apart from others in the field. Kelton is client-focused and provides excellent service to fulfill the needs of Engelmeier & Umanah’ s clients.

In his little free time, Kelton enjoys woodworking, watching baseball, traveling and working out.
