Jerri Adams Belcher
Jerri Adams Belcher is a fearless and tenacious employment attorney. With a legal decade of experience, Jerri has earned a reputation as a formidable advocate for her clients, consistently delivering outstanding results. Throughout her career, Jerri has focused her practice on discrimination, retaliation, and harassment in the workplace. Her comprehensive understanding of the law, coupled with her sharp analytical skills, allows her to devise innovative strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs. She has also successfully argued cases in state and federal district courts.
Prior to joining Engelmeier & Umanah, Jerri litigated and tried employment, insurance, and construction-defect cases. Jerri is highly decorated employment attorney. She has been named as a Minnesota Rising Star since 2019 and was selected by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch. During law school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she developed her advocacy skills as a judicial intern for then-Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Jerri is co-chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Diversity and Inclusion Council. Jerri is a former member of Technovation, where she mentored middle-school girls by helping them to develop business acumen, public speaking skills, and confidence to solve real-world problems through technology.
