Annette Peterson
Annette Peterson has 25 years of legal experience in large, medium and small law firms. Annette works primarily in the area of employment law and litigation, and has an extensive background in related areas including labor, wage and hour, construction litigation and workers’ compensation. She is a highly competent professional assisting on legal matters as well as diligent and outgoing. Annette has a great rapport with clients, which is exemplified by her ability to handle delicate matters with patience, compassion and professionalism.
Prior to joining Engelmeier & Umanah, P.A., Annette worked as a legal administrative assistant to the local managing partner and litigation manager of a national labor and employment law firm. She provided professional support in all aspects of employment law and labor matters involving business owners and managers, union organizing campaigns, arbitrations, unfair labor practices and representation cases.
Annette is a hard worker and dedicated team player and this is shown as she goes above and beyond to get the job done and above expectations. She is detail oriented, creative, and has the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. One of Annette’s greatest qualities is she performs best under pressure and is able to meet last minute deadlines without fail.
Annette is engaged and has two children. She enjoys fishing, four-wheeling, reading, motorcycle riding, and spending time with family and friends. Annette has recently added two four-legged “children” to her family: a Rottweiler, Bob (named after her father), and a Mastiff/Rottweiler, Mackenzie/Mac (named after her fiancé’s father Gary, “Mac”).
