The State of Sexual Harassment
How the Courts Are Dealing with These Claims, Tips for Successful Prosecution, and How To Improve the Law
As more and more people come forward with their stories of experiencing sexual assault and harassment, it is an important time to review how the courts today view sexual assault and harassment claims and to determine what legislative or other fixes may be possible/needed for our clients. As society seems to show a greater willingness to listen to victims of sexual assault and harassment, have the courts reacted similarly? Has it gotten any easier to bring these claims to a jury? Any expectation that this will change? Please join us Tuesday, December 12, 2017, for our monthly member meeting to hear from Jean Boler and Sheila Engelmeier as they share from their breadth of experience, knowledge, and expertise on these topics.
We are excited to have these experienced panelists join us for our monthly CLE and look forward to seeing you there. As always, NELA provides lunch for our monthly meetings.
